    [fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify]Character Name: Rosenose

    Character Age: 12 moons

    Gender: She-cat

    Alliance: ThunderClan

    Rank: Warrior

    Appearance:

With a naturally gentle and welcoming appearance, Rosenose is born rather petite for her age, even though she has been her entire life. Her bones are brittle and her frame is fragile; it took her longer to learn to walk than her other siblings. Her rounded, wide eyes appear as green orbs with flecks of brown around the edges of the iris and right near her pupils. Her pelt, short and smooth, is lustrous against the sunlight, the vibrant cinnamon hue darkening around the main points of her body.

A lighter coat lies around her sides and legs, while the fur around her stomach and tail is lengthier. A mask of white covers the pigment around her muzzle, up between her eyes, on her chest and stomach, all four of her paws, and along the tip of her tail. Unlike the rest of her colored fur, the white is much duller than the bright cinnamon that lies around it. Her nose, unlike most cat's, is a bright pink color instead of a dull orange or pink color. This is how she got her name.

    Personality:

It's the easiest thing to note the traits that you show towards everyone - especially if you know who you are, and where you belong. Sometimes, it can be a bit more difficult when you're in the process of discovering what your purpose is, and who you want to be known as to those around you. Some make conscious decisions to act a certain way, while some traits come naturally to them. One can only hope that their true traits are positive, but more often than not, they are negative.

From birth to adulthood, Rosenose has shown the tendency to put other's needs before her own. For example, she would often give up her spot under her mother's warmth so her sibling would be comfortable. She tends to put herself in uncomfortable situations to make sure another around her feels safe and secure.

She doesn't think very highly of herself - in fact, she tells herself how bad of a job she's doing and how she should do better. She's never been an optimist, and she doesn't ever think that she'll find happiness. These thoughts usually lead her to work harder or find something to keep her busy. Usually, the only way to make her feel confident or happy is to give her positive reinforcement. When working, she's very conscientious; she's always prepared and makes sure that all of her work is done correctly, and that she doesn't miss anything along the way.

Warm-hearted and sympathetic, Rosenose is always looking to give the best advice to those in need. She's not argumentative, and is rather open-minded, even when a situation may be uncomfortable for her. She tends to live her life busily rather than leisurely, and is always on the move, whether it be to hunt or to do her daily patrols.

--- Likes: Problem solving, Helping others & Leaf-fall
--- Dislikes: Leaf-bare, Darkness, Bullies & Kittypet food
--- Strengths: Giving advice, Solving problems & Remembering things
--- Weaknesses: Being a leader, Debating & Fighting

    History:

It wasn't at all a complicated situation that brought Rosenose into the world. Both loners at the time, her mother had befriended her father from a young age, and over the years they grew closer. Soon enough, they were convinced that they were in love with each other -- and so they had a litter together. It was after that Rosenose was born that things got a bit interesting. Her mother and father began arguing, which would be considered normal for couples by most standards. After a few weeks of the verbal fighting, things started to get physical. Her father would swat at her mother, and then one day he blinded her permanently.

She attacked him with vision in only one eyes, took a piece of his ear off, and chased him off into the forest. With two kittens and one eyes, her mother traveled through the forest until she couldn't walk anymore. It was then that a ThunderClan cat found her mother exhausted with two crying kittens, and brought them back to the clan camp, where they were given food and shelter for the night. After resting, her mother practically begged the leader to let them join the clan, explaining their situation. Raised in ThunderClan, Rosenose had no memories from her time as a loner, probably because she was so young.

She caught her first mouse when wandering out of the nursery when she was four moons old. She'd cornered it between trees and fallen debris, caught it by the tail, and brought it back to the center of the camp with pride. Of course, her mother was upset that she'd wandered away without her permission, but there was still the gleam of pride for her daughter's first catch.

Her early apprentice years seemed to go by faster than her kitten years. Throughout the six moons of training she went through, she learned how to hunt, fight and most importantly, how to climb trees. This skill came in handy when she was about eight moons old, and she was chased through the forest by a badger while her mentor was distracted by an unrecognized scent. Of course, her mentor noticed it after a few seconds, and chased after the two. Rosenose climbed straight up the nearest tree and was able to jump from branch to branch to escape the enraged badger.

Not too long ago, Rosepaw became Rosenose, and is currently awaiting an apprentice.

    Roleplay Sample:

Nothing was out of the ordinary. The darkened sky was illuminated by the lucent moon, which appeared to be cut in half. It was nights like these where Rosenose wondered why the glowing orb in the sky went through these phases throughout each passing moon. Were the ancestors in StarClan responsible for this phenomenon? Or was there a better explanation for why the moon would suddenly be cut in half, and then return to its full form, during the duration of each month?

The tabbied she-cat quickly inhaled, the smell of the leafbare forest overwhelming her senses. Paws kneaded into the chilled dirt ground. A shiver ran up her spine, the fur on the back of her neck standing straight up. "Why does the forest have leaf-bare? It doesn't seem to help the well-being of the clan cats," she murmured to herself, scraping her sharpened claws through the thin, sorrel ground.

Standing up, Rosenose stepped forward, extending her legs out in front of her as she stretched, a silent yawn escaping her mouth. Sleep was essential for a warrior, but ever since the cooler weather had came in, she found herself lying awake until the late night hours. She would awake in the morning to blurry vision and lowered senses. How could she ever fulfill her clan duties if she couldn't get a whole night sleep? Turning towards her left, she padded towards the entrance of the warrior den, where she noted the decaying rabbits and voles lying off to the side.

Maybe if the weather would warm up, even if just by a few degrees, she would have an easier time falling asleep -- but she highly doubted that she would be able to.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]Hi, I'm Callie! [insert extra comments here] I'm a new player, but I've been writing ever since I was old enough to hold a pencil, and I've been a technology geek when it comes to making graphics and codingsince I was about thirteen... but I do have a few questions, starting with the following:

-- What is freshkill and how am I earning it? I see the number go up...
-- What are badges well I know what they are, and how do you earn them?
-- How many active members are on here on a daily basis?

    [fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8].__. this looks interesting.

[justify][font=georgia][size=8]Character Name: Caelum (means heavenly in Latin)
    Gender: Tom-cat
    Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
    [hr]
[justify][font=georgia][size=8]Appearance: When walking through a museum, it's easy to figure out that even the simplest painting made with only shapes and colors can be more beautiful than an extravagant landscape painting. This is the case with Caelum.

On the inside of his body, his organs seem to be of average size, besides his stomach, which seems to be a bit smaller than the average cat's. This affects how much freshkill he can eat before he starts to feel sick, but because it is only slightly smaller than average, it doesn't affect him that badly. His thick bones are aligned properly throughout his body, forming the sturdy frame of Caelum. He's larger than the average feral cat, but not to the point where he appears to be a hybrid.

His muscles are well-developed and strong, helping him much in his ability to fight. Though if you were to look at him, you wouldn't notice most of these things, except for his size. On top of his pale pink skin lies a thick, soft coat of lilac fur. The tones of the lilac range from being darker to lighter, giving it a weaving appearance. His face is rounded and plump, with the remains of baby fat being left over from his younger years. Two rounded, large orbs of gold lie near the center of his face, a hue of orange surrounding the pupils.

Personality: the visionary. Resourceful, creative, intellectually quick -- these are all words that describe Caelum to the greatest extent. He always seems to be asking questions, and can often come off as someone who has a difficulty understanding things. On the contrary, he asks questions to gain information. The more he knows, the wiser he will be. Unlike most, he can remember things off the top of his head without having to think deeper. Often remembering the small details, he can be very resourceful to those around him who want to know something that happened, how it happened, and when it happened.

Always on top of things, he usually over-analyzes small bits of information, trying to find the true meaning as to what has been said or scenes where one would have to use logic to figure out what has happened. When he believes he understands something completely, he will bring it up in a conversation. If his theory is denied or questioned, he'll go into debate mode, where he can sit and argue for hours on end about a simple detail. Whenever someone gets on his last nerve or upsets him, he'll go to the end of the Earth to make sure that they stop doing whatever they are doing to annoy him. Caelum often goes into full-on competitive mode, and he won't stop until he has won.

    Plot Ideas:

✥ What if all the clans could coexist in the forest without wars and fighting? Well, it may never happen, but one could try. This would be a big topic that he focuses on, trying to make friends from all the clans to come together and show one another than they're not all that different from one another. Wouldn't life be simple if everyone was tolerant of others' beliefs and respected their choices?

✥ I think it would be cool for him to have a stalker >.>

✥ Where romance is concerned, he could fall in love with a she-cat that only "loves" him for his parents and who they are. When he finds out, it would crush him. Simple, yet it could work.

^ if I had more time to do so, I would come up with better plots

    Quote

[justify][font=georgia][size=8]The leafbare breeze are sent a chilled shiver down the back of the cream-colored she-cat. She and her mate watched as the small kitten appeared below her. The vocal noises the kitten began making made her wince, and she proceeded to make sure that the kitten was able to feed off of her. The kitten's colors were remarkable in her eyes, the mixture of the red tabby and brown tabby swirling around his face, down his flank and up to the tip of his tail. The masking white covered the patterns around his stomach, muzzle, back paws and even a large spot around the base of his tail.

She gave a warm smile towards the little tom-kitten. It was surprising that there was only one kitten; throughout her pregnancy she had felt a whole lot of movement within her stomach. She could only expect that the kitten would be energetic as he grew up. "Mountekit," she murmured, nudging the calico with the tip of her nose.

    Quote

[justify][font=georgia][size=8]Newborn kittens didn't understand the world around them yet, and they couldn't even handle their own emotions. Growing up, they didn't remember the first time they entered the world, or the first time they heard their mother's soothing voice. Mountekit let out a wail, the fear taking over his mind. He couldn't yet hear his own screaming, and his vision was blank. The only thing that led him to the warmth was the little push he received from his mother -- and then he went silent. He suckled forcefully, the warm milk filling his little mouth. Maybe he would like it here, after all.

[justify][font=georgia][size=8]Mother: "My mother always knows how to help me when I'm upset or need help getting around. Ever since I was born she always has been telling me bedtime stories and giving me warmth in this leafbare season."

Father: "My father is the bravest warrior I've ever met! He's not always around, but that's because mother says he has a lot of duties to fulfill around the camp. He brings mother back food every night and lies down next to me until he has to go back to the warrior's den."

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]Hello! I'm Callie and I'm looking to become more advanced in my writing. I believe I need tutoring in the following:

    ✥ Expanding my vocabulary
    ✥ Transition sentences between paragraphs
    ✥ Lengthening my posts

Here is an example of my writing in an application. It comes with a RP sample.

    [justify][font=georgia][size=8]Character Name: Primepaw

    Character Age: 10 moons

    Gender: She-cat

    Alliance: SkyClan

    Rank: Apprentice

    Appearance:

Lean and muscular, Primepaw's naturally athletic figure stands shorter than the average cat. She's not what one could consider small, but she just has shorter front legs than the average feral cat.

    Personality:

the doer. In Primepaw's mind, what has to be done will get done. Efficient, a risk-taker and responsible, Primepaw never settles for being the second best. She always seems to be on the move, never stopping to relax or take a break.

Often overwhelming herself, she seems to stick to a tight schedule that goes from being on the move to passing out next to a tree near the camp due to exhaustion. She could be considered a fun cat, but usually she doesn't intend to have fun when she does. She'll be out doing her daily routine, and then become sidetracked by the little mouse that runs past her -- and suddenly, she's chasing it around the area.

Naturally friendly and adaptable, she's always up for making new friends. She never judges or categorizes a cat by the way they look or act, always trying to find who they truly are on the inside. Primepaw gets along with others well, but if she were asked to choose to work alone or with others, she'd choose to work alone, believing that she can get things done quicker and better if she's the only one doing the deciding and thinking. When working on a project, or even listening to someone speak, she'll become annoyed by the smaller details within a story, and suddenly ask for them to get to the point.

--- Likes: Taking risks, Having fun & Being "on the go"
--- Dislikes: Long explanations, Details & Rules
--- Strengths: Getting things done, Managing his time & Lying convincingly
--- Weaknesses: Sob stories, Easily distracted & Following directions

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]I'm looking to get threads for my characters. Plain and simple. ^___^

I have three characters right now, though I believe right now that only two can have threads, due to the fact that the third if for the CDC and he hasn't even opened his eyes yet. Here are the two characters that I have:

ROSENOSE || a 12 moon old ThunderClan warrior. she-cat. She's not HP related at all, and is an original character of mine. Her [application] is advanced. She's your average caregiver, a she-cat who cares more about those around her than herself, and lacks self confidence. She's open for any plots of any sort.

PRIMEPAW || a 10 moon old SkyClan apprentice. she-cat. She's not HP related, and also an original character of mine. Her [applications] is a work in progress at the moment, but I wish to develop her more in-character before I add more to her application. She's open for any sort of plots.

If you have any characters that could help with this, please just comment below. He's going to need future friends, a future mate and future threads.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]The cooler air carried an overwhelming scent of decaying freshkill from the center of the camp, and the bitter scent that came from the river on the outside of their territory. Claws sheathed into her paws, she padded past a group of gossiping cats, a small, yet nervous smile trapped on her narrow face. The distinct sound of kittens playing near the entrance of the nursery rang above the deeper voices of the warriors and apprentices around her, and she let out sigh in contentment.

Entering, she stepped over piles of leaves and dodged the passing kittens, the freshly killed mice hanging out of her mouth. Glancing over to her left, she noticed a she-cat sitting there, a grin on her relaxed face. Dropping the vermin out of her maw, she nodded in greeting. "Hello," she mewed. "Would you like a mouse?" she asked kindly.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]Rosenose studied the she-cat, noting the cute little flaps the she-cat had for ears. She seemed to be of a different breed than her, but she would never judge a cat by the way they looked. The she-cat was actually rather pretty. She would've shared the mouse with her, but she needed to make sure that all the elders, queens and kittens were fed first. "Oh no, I can't do that. I'm making sure everyone else it fed first," she explained, purring. "I had a filling dinner last night, too."

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]It was cold and wet. Surely during leafbare there would be snow when the weather got bad, right? Not exactly. Rather than being able to enjoy the beauty of the little white snowflakes during this time of year, Rosenose was stuck sitting near the edge of the warrior's den, watching as the raindrops plunged from the clouds above, hitting the ground with a spat. She couldn't have imagined such a grotesque, gloomy day.

The soft talking around her was muffled as the water started to spill harder, entering the little crevices in the rocks around her. After a few moments of watching the sky, she noticed that a narrow stream of water had entered the den. Swiftly sitting up, she moved away from the puddles, descending back into the shadows.

That was until she bumped into someone behind her. She scattered, her hatred of the rain now obvious to those around her. Finally, Rosenose settled down near the back of the den, where sound of the falling rain was drowned out by the sound of everyone else's voices.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=georgia][size=8]She expected the tom-cat to turn and go in the other direction when he too headed towards the back of the den. Because she didn't have many friends, and most others didn't acknowledge her, she was a bit surprised when he lied down right next to her on the dirt floor. He seemed to mutter a greeting, and a small smile found its way onto Rosenose's face. "Not enjoying the rain either?" she asked, an amused tone in her voice. He seemed to either be upset, unfriendly or just plain grumpy, but she wouldn't judge. Talking to someone was better than sitting in the back all by yourself, right? Rosenose was a quiet, careful she-cat; she wasn't going to bombard him with greetings and questions while he seemed a bit gloomy.

    [justify][font=georgia][size=8]This is a work-in-progress~

    Name: Tobias

    Gender: Tom-cat

State: Preferred living, but dead could be cool, too 8D

    Appearance:

Personality: Assertive and outspoken, Tobias isn't afraid to take charge of a situation and change it to his liking. A natural-born leader, he tends to appear rather harsh in stressful situations and sometimes, he can even cause trauma to those around him with his words and actions. He has no patience for disorganization or inefficiency, and he values competence and knowledge. Tobias has an easier time understanding complex and difficult problems, and is quick to create solid solutions.

    Scheme ideas:

    If he's living...

✥ The idea that he can prove himself as someone different from his evil, bloodthirsty siblings appeals to me. He's not an intentionally mean or harmful to those around him. Rather than thirsting for death and bloodshed from those around him, he'll be the one that wants to take charge of uneasy situations and prove that he's worthy of being a relative of past leaders.

    If he dies...

✥ Wandering through the heavenly realms, he'll try to piece together his family history, and discover why certain things have happened in the past. Rather than possessing cats to torture others, he'll try to learn as much as he can about the world he never was able to experience.

Other: I will use this persona whether or not I get the kitten. >.> Oh, and Capriax.
